This is one of the best copper boilers that you are going to find, and one of the largest. Without the handles it measures 24" long by 13" high by 13" wide. There are no cuts or tears or large dents. Of course, it is old and used, so there are the usual small dents you should expect. It is very clean inside. The wooden handles are excellent. The tin lid is also in first rate condition and it is the correct lid for the boiler.
Most of the things you see in our store have never been owned by a collector or been in an antique shop. They have come straight from the families and farms that have used them and stored them away in their attics, barns and woodsheds for decades. They are real things that were used by real people, so they are not going to be perfect. You should expect them to have character. When we describe the condition, we mean compared to anything else that old. I will do my best to point out, either in the description and/or pictures, anything I notice that to me is significant. But, I can't mention every little thing. So, please look at the pictures and read the description carefully. If you need different views in the pictures or you have any questions, call or E-mail me before you buy. We will be happy to reply. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Our items are offered as a piece of history for collectors to be used for decoration or display. We don't represent that they will do the job they were designed for years ago, so once you buy them, how you use them is up to you.
