These are new "old stock" Amish buggy wheels. We found them stored in a loft room above an Amish buggy shop. They are an out-dated type of wheel no longer used. When we got them, they were not finished. We had an Amish wheelwright install the steel rims on them. We are selling them as decorations. Even though they have never been used, they have been stored in a barn for decades. These wheels are not varnished or sealed. They are going to have dirt and finger prints on them. The birds also liked to use this loft. They are also going to have small nicks and abrasions on them. That being said, they are quite clean and in excellent condition. These wheels run from about 39" to 43" in diameter. Most are 39". They are all the same price. If you have a preference in size, or you would like a matched pair, let us know. The average cost of shipping 2 of these wheels bundled together with UPS is $137.00. Two wheels is the most that can be bundled together and shipped through UPS. Three or more wheels shipped together might ship cheaper on truck freight. The price will vary depending on your zip code. So, contact us and we will find the least expensive way to get it to you. Most of the things you see in our store have never been owned by a collector or been in an antique shop. They have come straight from the families and farms that have used them and stored them away in their attics, barns and woodsheds for decades. They are real things that were used by real people, so they are not going to be perfect. You should expect them to have character.
