This antique cast iron Enterprise coffee grinder was patented on Oct. 21, 1873. It was made by Enterprise Mfg. Co. of Philadelphia PA. It spins freely and you can see the grinder rotating inside, but we haven't put any coffee beans through it. The regulating slide is still in the throat and works fine. The wooden drawer is not original. There is no cap for the top of the hopper. The two flywheels are 19 5/8" in diameter. Including the crank handle, it is 21 1/2" wide. To the top of the hopper it is 22 1/2" high. The locking key or drive key in the crank wheel and the crank handle are free and screw apart. These will be taken off and put in the shipping crate. There are no cracks or welds and except for the drawer, this grinder is all original including what is left of the original paint. The grinder weighs about 106 lbs. It will be shipped in a heavy wooden crate.
